After the Friedl meadow to the west of the old town, another Friedl meadow is developed to the south and east of the police building in the Pfarrer-Rankl-Straße as a construction area. It is officially called "South Schwaimberg" and, with its southern orientation, its panoramic view and its location near the center, constitutes another "net" of the city. Monday night (September 2) took place the official inauguration of the first property, a residential and office building comprising five rental housing.

Alois and Michael Niedermaier (AM Verwaltungs GmbH) of Rosenau are the builders of the housing and office building and investors in the development of the construction area.

The residential and office building has three photovoltaic panels of about 230 square meters each on its flat roof. On the ground floor, the employment agency, located on the first floor of the Job Center Grafenau, leaves its current location on the Grüber road. On the second floor are three rental apartments with an area of 60 to 80 square meters and a patio.

In addition to the newly-constructed residential and office building, a house for 16 people needs to be built.

The development of the "Schwaimberg South" construction area will be completed this year. Then, preparations are made for seven to eight lots of single-family homes with an area of between 700 and 900 square meters. – ulRead more in the Wednesday edition of Grafenauer Anzeiger
