Myth Barcelona Pavilion
With impressive images, Spanish filmmakers Xavi Campreciós and Pep Martín have placed the Barcelona Pavilion at the center of their award-winning documentary. "The 2018 film tells the extraordinary story of this world-famous building and reconstruction building," says Bochum architect and chairman of BDA Bochum, Hattingen, Herne, Witten, Boris E Biskamp. Built in 1929, the remarkable architectural masterpiece of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich has changed the history of sustainable architecture. Initially, this building only existed for eight months – in 1986, after the reconstruction of the Barcelona Pavilion, architecture enthusiasts so far impressed. The documentary is a project by Nihao Films and Fundació Mies van der Rohe.
